What should I do for body building?
Pavneet asked:
Yo, I’m 13 i was thinking about body building and getting a LITTLE buff. I do 30 crunches and pushups every morning and drink alot of milk, is this good enough to get stronger? Does weightlifting stun your growth? Please give some ideas and suggestions

Most every teenage boy wants to be a “body builder” But if you are serious about getting into it, then get a log and a plan out a routine. Try to stick to it, and don’t give up. After a few months you will really start to see results you can notice. It’s hard to stay with it for the first two months, but after that you should be in a good routine, and it will be easier. Unfortunatly most people will start, and then give up with in a few days.
A really good site that you can find a lot of information is (Great site w/ a lot of info)

do what your doing but dont start lifting weights until your atleast 18 your body is still developing and lifting weights at your age can be detrimental in the long run. body weight stuff is fine , milk will help your bones grow and develop with the calcium but protein is what builds mucsle, fish, red meat, chicken, eggs, seafood.
my advice is stick to what your doing and leave the weights until your older, and yes it can stunt your growth.
