Okay heres the deal, judging by your height and weight, youre an ectomorph which means that you have a high metabolism. If you want to build nice solid muscle then you need to eat alot and workout. You need to eat and then eat some more, but you might need to watch it or you’ll end up gaining fat instead of muscle. I am somewhere inbetween an ectomorph and a mesomorph, but my metabolism tends to lean towards an ectomorph, so I’m alot like you. I used to weigh 130lbs at 5ft 10in. Now I’m 5ft 10 1/2 in and weigh 146lbs. What I did and what you should do is double youre calorie intake, eat lots of food thats high in protein and carbs, and make sure to workout. So eat about 6 meals a day {no higher!} and workout 3 to 4 days a week for about 30 min to 1 hour each time {too long and you’ll burn muscle}. Work with weights that are comfortable for you, too light and it wont do very much, too heavy and you’ll get frequent injuries and your form wont be good and you’ll be lopsided. Work with weights that you can do at least 15 to 20 reps with without taking a break {this is for dumbells with stuff like benchpress its different}. With benchpress you’ll build shoulder, chest, and arm muscle, make sure that the weight you work with you can do at least one set of 8 reps with without straining to the extreme. Pushups, at least 15 to 20 a night will help, Inclined benchpress will definitely help {note that you will want to work with a lighter weight on incline on the account of its alot harder}. Pullups will help too, along with military presses with the dumbbells which is where you take the dumbbells and hold them in your hands with the back of your hands facing behind you {you can also add a twist as you push them up}. You can also do pec flys. But still make sure to eat more and workout, just not too much and do the exercises I told you about and also you can look up more on google and youtube, along with other sites. And make sure to work more than just youre chest and shoulders.
