I would also probably recommend higher heel maybe three inches or more to lengthen your legs and raise you up. because you are stocky try to avoid dresses that are this "box" shaped find something that curves out a little bit more, there are other good oriental dresses out there if you want to go for something asian or oriental looking there are a bunch of dresses out there. you should find one that accents your curves not hides them, but at the same time go for the style of dress you like.
