Trying to Gain Weight with stomach problems?

cypherx83 asked:

Hey, just wanted to ask this question maybe there’s a nutritionist or a weight trainer around. I weigh around 150 and im 6’2. I’ve been trying to gain weight for a while now and I know people say “well just eat” but its not that easy for me since I tend to get upset stomach if I eat the wrong foods or even eat too much in one sitting. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to gain weight without having stomach pains constantly for eating too much. Also, I work out regularly and take boxing classes. So staying fit isn’t an issue, its just gaining weight onto my body so that i can build muscle from it. If anyone has any techniques they could share, or foods that could help, please let me know. Thank you.

There are many protein drinks available on the market that you can begin consuming after a workout. That will at least assist in gaining more muscle. It’s possible also to just have a very high metabolism.

My suggestion would be to test out a protein drink, but definitely in small doses. It may be a trial and error situation until you find soemthing that works. But as always, before you begin a new ‘after workout ritual’, consult your physician to make sure. I’m sure he/she, knowing your health history, may be able to suggest one that would work best for your specific body. Or check your insurance to see if they would cover a local nutrionist. Even one or two visits can get you on the right track and formulate an ideal plan!

    Good luck!

try to eat meals and fruit that are full of carbohydrate , when u do sport your body do not need much protein so u dont need to increase protein, and when u eat , try to eat average or small meal but more than 3 times in a day , so u will not get stomachace.and it is very good that do sport cause u will icrease your muscles not your fat.

Proteins are required for building muscles, so having high protein foods like eggs, milk, peanut butter, protein shakes will help you in gaining weight. Starchy foods contain a lot of carbohydrates. You can find more information at
