Issues with my best mate?
Hi. I’ve known my best mate since i was 4 years old… we’ve been through loads together. He used to get bullied and i used to stick up for him.. i **** bullies.
Since school days he has changed a lot.. we are very much different to what we used to be but we still hang around and i still class him as one of my best mates.
The thing is.. that he has started acting like a d*ck the last few years. We went to different secondary schools… i loved it and still have a lot of friends from there (10 years on) where as he hated his school.. he got bullied and resents it. Since school he is obsessed with body building and making money. He has beeb pretty succesful in both – and this has completely changed him.
Basically he is now HUGE and drives a very nice car and has a very nice house. But, rather than bein cool about it he flaunts it and acts like a d*ck. I introduced him to my friends a few years back as he was hanging with a bad crowd.. but now i feel he has sh*t on me because he just slates me in front of my mates.
I have told him some things i have only told a few people.. about issues i was having with my mum and her mental health… and at a BBQ a few months ago he used this as ammunition to ***** jokes about me.. it really p*ssed me off.
I have spoke to him since.. he knows i’m annoyed but hasn’t apologised and doesn’t seem that bothered. I don’t know if i’m bein overly sensative and just need to loosen up or whether he’s bein a d*ck and i need to just avoid him.
What do you reckon i should do?
