How do I gain more weight?

Planktonium asked:

I used to be not so thin. Well, over the years, due to stress and other reasons, my weight seems to shrink. My metalbolism is always high and it doesn’t help much if I sleep a lot and eat a lot. Currently, I trying to pick up bodybuilding. But no matter how I train, I’m still getting toner and not getting bigger in size. Is there anyway, I can gain weight naturally without using any supplements from health products? What should I do or eat?

normally we are not aware of calorific food intake, for getting weight is easier by eating more calorie having food like butter chicken, beef etc.,but u should burn it to balance fat by means of exercises.

I would eat a lot of eggs in the morning and before bed..like 5 eggs in the morning and five before I go to bed. Eggs are high in protein and this will bulk you up and help you put on a few lbs. Also when lifting I would lift for less reps with more weight to make your muscles bigger…not more toned…do more weight at 5-7 reps and rest longer in between. You’ll see results if you keep this up. Good luck!

Have larger size helpings of food at meals and keep nutritious snacks readily available. Proteins are required for building muscles, so having high protein food like eggs, milk, peanut butter, protein shakes will help you in gaining weight. Starchy foods contain a lot of carbohydrates.
