does body weight exercises condition and build muscles?

body weight exercises like pull ups
push ups
crunches
squats
flanking ( on toes and forearms while staying stable)
dips
lunges
or doing some of these exercises with 10 pound weights ( squats crunches , etc)

    Body weight exercises are very good, if you have the strength to do them. With added weights is good, when you are ready for the increase.
