do whey products for building body/muscle mass really work?

yeah it does but you need more than just that. use creatine also it’ll help the muscles so you can work more.

I honestly have never taken them but my husband does, and I havent seen them working, only adding to the poundage he has because they add extra calories to his diet.

yes whey is great fro building/repairing muscle. after you workout whey gives your body a quick shot of protein to recover. whey is quickly digested which is why it works so well after a workout. protein is what builds the muscle(along with a good weightlifitng routine) definitely go and buy some. Optimum Nutrition 100%whey or wheybolic extreme 60 are 2 good kinds.
